As advisors to national and international conservation organisations, as well as
to individual conservation architects and contractors, we are constantly involved
in conservation and restoration projects. The details of these, the techniques used
and the methods applied as a result of the investigations, may be of interest to
others involved in the conservation of our built heritage.
It is intended, therefore, that this site will be developed to provide information
on projects, techniques and some of the problems encountered when studying historic
stone buildings and monuments.
Links will also be provided to other sites involved in heritage studies.
In order to see the type of work which we undertake in the fields of stone conservation
and restoration, please click on the 'Conservation/restoration' or 'Building stone' buttons,
or visit our Home Page for full details of the services we can supply.
